Hercules is working with EPA to finalize the work plan and other associated documents needed to begin the next phase of environmental investigation at the former facility.

These documents will guide additional field investigation to better understand site conditions and help evaluate future cleanup options. Hercules has submitted the documents to EPA for review and has continued to revise them in response to EPA comments.

Our goal is to finalize the documents and begin field work as soon as possible following EPA approval.

Our mission is to maximize the potential for re-development by leveraging available historic tax credits and creating education enterprise zones, protecting them from flooding by creating water retention parks, activating centers and cooridors into vibrant neighborhood assets by rezoning areas and providing development incentives. We are committed to connecting existing and new amenities and facilities for better multimodel accessibility and enhancing neighborhoods in the City of Hattiesburg.
